Becky Fisher, Administrative Services Manager
My name is Becky Fisher, and I am Administrative Services Manager for the Hruska Clinic. I love my position because no two days are ever the same. I get to meet our patients and help them with scheduling, answer their questions about the ever-complicated insurance process, and hopefully get to know a little about each one. Maybe it will be the fact that you love to pick out the dark chocolate candy from our famous candy bowl. Or maybe it will be that you just had your first grandchild. Or that you are getting ready for a trip to England to visit your mother. Whatever it is, I really enjoy this part of my day. I can also be found working on patient accounts, doing payroll, changing a light bulb, or maybe compiling monthly reports. My job is to make every day run smoothly here, and to make sure each of our patients has a great experience with us.
I first met Ron Hruska in 1990, when I applied for a position as physical therapy office supervisor. After I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, I had worked in retail management for a few years, and decided it was time for a change. A friend of mine at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center told me about this position, and more importantly about Ron. He told me I would never regret working with Ron, and I never have. Ron hired me, I think after he found out I grew up in Norfolk and had six brothers and sisters (Ron has a soft spot for big families, as he is the eldest of 13!). About nine years later, Ron decided to open his own practice, and I welcomed the opportunity to help him open the doors of the Hruska Clinic in April, 1999. On a personal note, I have an adorable yellow lab, Oscar, who loves peanut butter, and me! I am the happiest when I am near the ocean, and when I am traveling and seeing the world. In addition to many beautiful places here in the States, I have been fortunate enough to have gone to Mexico, Ireland, England, Italy, and recently added France to the list. I also love my two dogs Oscar and Oliver, interior design, spending time with my family, and planning my next trip!
